Started in French Oak this is our first release of “Cask Strength” Pure Single Rum finished in a Ruby Port Cask, that has been distilled and matured in the city of Porto, in Portugal’s first true urban distillery.

Produced using molasses in an open fermentation method and resting on the lees for up to 10 days for a full flavour profile from our proprietary yeast blend, our Rum is double distilled in our German pot stills before starting in new French Oak casks and finishing in a Ruby Port Cask from a generational family Port House.

For serious Rum drinkers we have bottled a limited number at “Cask Strength”.

Super Rare: Individually numbered bottles limited to Fifty (50) only in the world.

Tasting Notes

Bottled at a cask strength of 118 proof this a beautifully layered and complex, high ester rum with an elegant balance of dried plum, fig and wood spice with a wonderful long finish.

Best sipped neat at room temperature, or over ice (made only with purified water).
